ABOUT THE ROLE
This position provides support activity across the People and Property Branch and will report to both the National Property Advisor and the Director of HR Strategy.
This role will assist the Property team in the delivery of day-to-day property and financial administration activities and support the team in any property related functions. It will assist the HR Strategy team in the delivery of day-to-day human resources and financial administration activities and support the team in any HR related functions.
You will be responsible for:
- Administration of both the HR and Property team’s purchase orders, invoices, journals and accruals
- Support the management and administration of AMSA vehicle fleet contract which includes procurement of vehicles, lease revaluations, hand back process of the vehicles as required, coordinate fines, registrations, maintenance, tolls, fuel cards and all necessary vehicle operating requirements
- Support the management of car parking arrangements and with a range of administrative duties related to the National Property Portfolio
- Provide support with AMSA Recruitment processes, correspondence and onboarding
- Support and draft reports, presentations and research for the HR Strategy Advisors
- Assist the HR team with administration and project work, including with the Learning and Development and performance systems
- Assist with oversight and prioritisation for responses to client requests
- Develop and maintain professional and constructive relationships with all clients both internal and external to AMSA.

- Other duties as appropriate.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
To be successful in this position, you will have the following skills and experience:
• Experience in an administrative support role
• An understanding of financial management principles and practices
• Sound verbal and written communication skills; and
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and general computer literacy
• Interest and/or experience in HR and Property functions
