About the Role

This role plays a key part in supporting the day-to-day operation of AMSA’s Microsoft 365 and cloud environment, helping ensure staff across the organisation have access to secure, reliable and effective digital services.

As part of the Infrastructure and Operations team, you will provide hands-on support across Microsoft cloud, identity and collaboration platforms. You’ll contribute to core operational activities, including incident response, approved changes and ongoing service improvements, within a structured ICT environment.

In this role you will:

  • Support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online and OneDrive
  • Assist with identity and access administration across cloud and hybrid environments
  • Monitor cloud services and contribute to incident response and service restoration activities
  • Support approved changes, maintenance activities and operational improvements
  • Work closely with infrastructure, cyber security and platform teams to support stable and secure services
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation and operational records

 

What We're Looking For

You will bring:

  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 services in an enterprise environment
  • Familiarity with cloud identity and access administration, including Entra ID
  • Exposure to Azure or hybrid cloud environments
  • Understanding of IT service management and operational support processes
  • Awareness of security, governance and compliance requirements in a regulated environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively, follow established procedures and manage competing priorities
  • Clear communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Relevant Microsoft cloud certifications or training (desirable)
  • Behaviours aligned with One AMSA values and ways of working
