About the Role

This role is responsible for the ongoing administration and improvement of AMSA’s ServiceNow platform, which underpins IT Service Management across the organisation. You will ensure the platform enables consistent, transparent and reliable service delivery.

Working closely with ICT operations, service desk, cyber security and infrastructure teams, you will translate operational requirements into effective platform configuration, reporting and service improvements.

In this role you will:

  • Administer and configure the ServiceNow platform to support core ITSM processes including incident, request, problem, change, asset, configuration and knowledge management
  • Design and maintain workflows, forms, catalogue items, notifications and automation to support efficient service delivery
  • Develop dashboards and reporting to provide visibility of service performance, demand and trends
  • Maintain accurate CMDB, asset and service data to support operational decision-making, reporting and audit requirements
  • Support integrations with enterprise platforms in collaboration with ICT teams and vendors
  • Maintain platform stability, documentation and compliance with AMSA security, risk and governance requirements, and contribute to ongoing improvement of ITSM capability

 

What We're Looking For

You will bring:

  • Experience administering and configuring ServiceNow or an equivalent enterprise ITSM platform
  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management processes and workflows (ITIL or equivalent)
  • Experience configuring service catalogue, workflows, dashboards and reporting capabilities
  • Strong data management skills, including maintaining CMDB, asset or configuration data integrity
  • Experience working across technical teams to translate operational needs into system improvements
  • Experience working in government, regulated or service-critical environments
  • Understanding of integration concepts such as REST APIs or enterprise system integrations
  • ServiceNow certification or equivalent ITSM platform experience
  • Behaviours aligned with One AMSA values and ways of working
